We've had a great few weeks, packed with learning and fun! Thanks to the room parents who helped to plan an AMAZING Valentine's party! We had great games and crafts that made the time fly by! Here are some of the pictures from the party:
We have been studying American Symbols and have learned about the Liberty Bell, the Statue of Liberty and Lincoln memorial. We have also learned about George Washington and Abraham Lincoln.
We continue to work on number combinations and adding 2 numbers together.
Last week, we had a visit from the Tooth Fairy. It is Dental Health month and she came by to remind us to brush and floss - she also left us toothbrushes!
We read the story Duck for President last week and talked about voting. We had a mock vote in our classroom to choose which brain break we wanted. (KooKooKangaroo won!)
Friday was Favorite Book Character Dress-up Day. We had fun seeing all the different costumes!
