September 2, 2016

Welcome to Kindergarten!  We have had a fabulous few weeks getting settled in to the classroom and routines!  These first few weeks of school are vital...it is important to me to help your child LOVE school and look forward to coming each day.  We have spent time these past several days learning routines and expectations for school and having fun!  You also may have noticed several crafts coming home; these are not only enjoyable for the children, they are also a great way to practice our cutting and gluing skills, as well as discuss the expectations on which we have been concentrating.
I know these last days of summer are hot, so please send your child with a water bottle daily!  We all need to stay hydrated!  I do my best to keep them cool in our classroom by keeping the lights out/down and having some quiet breaks throughout the day.
I will be posting pictures of activities in the classroom in the next few weeks, so stay tuned!
