March 2, 2017

This week, we finished up our American Symbols Unit in Social Studies and Force in Motion in Science.  We also ended our Three Little Pigs unit this week with some fun stations, including acting out the story as we retold it.  Next week, we will be beginning our unit of study on Community helpers in Social Studies and Ocean Habitats in Science.  In math, we continue to have lots of practice with addition and number combinations to 10, as this is a difficult skill.

If you have not yet signed up for Seesaw, you are missing out on seeing what the children are doing on a daily basis in the classroom!  It is also a great way for you to interact with your children while they are at school, as well as when they return home.  It is helpful for getting the answer to, " What did you do today?" and not having to hear "Nothing". 😀 Instead, you are able to see what we are doing through their uploads and then you can have a deeper discussion with them about it.  If you are interested in signing up (it's free!), please let me know and I will send home the qr code again for you.
